After weeks of internal discussion, testing, and reflecting on our direction, we’ve made a big decision about the future of x6MC: starting this week, we’re temporarily shutting down the network in order to completely rebuild it from scratch. We’re aiming to relaunch in mid-July with a public beta and a brand new experience.
This wasn’t a decision we made lightly. The original framework we built x6MC on has become difficult to manage and scale. Over time, things got messy behind the scenes — and as the Minecraft server space continues to evolve, we realized that patching things up wasn’t going to cut it anymore. To keep up, stay relevant, and actually deliver the experience we always envisioned, we need a clean slate.
What’s Changing?
Everything.
We're not just giving the server a fresh coat of paint — we’re rebuilding it from the ground up with:
✨ Brand new maps
⚙️ A completely new framework
🌐 A redesigned website + landing page
🎮 A more stable, modern, and enjoyable gameplay experience
From game performance to community tools and visuals, everything is getting an upgrade.
Why Now?
The Minecraft network space is changing fast. New competitors are entering with advanced features, polished experiences, and bigger communities. To stay ahead and offer something genuinely exciting, we need to evolve, too.
This rebuild isn’t a reaction to failure — it’s a commitment to our vision and to you, the players who’ve supported us all this time.
What’s Next?
The public beta is scheduled for mid-July, and we’ll be sharing sneak peeks, dev updates, and behind-the-scenes looks as we go. Keep your eyes on our socials and Discord to stay in the loop — and maybe even get a shot at early testing 👀.
We know taking the network offline is a big move, and we appreciate your patience while we build something better than ever. x6MC’s next chapter is going to be cleaner, stronger, and more fun — and we can't wait to share it with you.
Thanks for riding with us.
